I was honored to be the Head Timer at the 2026 Air Race Classic Terminus in Mount Vernon, Illinois, with the 4 Ts--Terrific Terminus Timing Team. I was further honored to be the Keynote Speaker at the Awards Banquet with 249 people in attendance where I spoke for ten minutes on my aviation background and changing the FAA after my multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

Works in Progress

I am putting the finishing touches on three short fiction stories and will be looking for an outlet for publication.
Two short non-fiction articles, each an award winner in Writer's Digest's 2020 Writing Competition, are ready for publication.
Writing has begun on my memoir telling how I blazed the trail for pilots and air traffic controllers living with multiple sclerosis, an incurable auto-immune neurological disease.

Merry Christmas 2020!
What do writers need? A writing implement! My sweet husband surprised me with a terrific personalized fountain pen. (And it's orange!) It's true that I do my writing on a computer, but I *DO* often make written notes. And even better, my hubster said I can use this pen for my future book signings! A fantastic idea--that's EXACTLY what I will do!
